I went to earthbound.wikia.com/wiki/Sans to see if it had been removed for fanon content, but it redirected to Ness. Sans = Ness? Lol, of course not, but it's funny that someone added in that little redirectment.
This meme is fucking awful. You can't even bring up Ness or Earthbound anymore without an army of unfunny 12 year olds coming at you with "HURRRR DURRR NESS IS SANS CUZ GAEM THEORY SAID SO!!! FUNNEH JOKE XDDD". It's truly unbearable. The theory itself is 99% bullshit, anyway.
What made me laugh my ass off when Mat thought the Defend move functioned a lot like the Spare button in Undertale,
and also the part where he thought the flowers in magicant from the halloween hack of earthbound was actually the prototype for flowey although also appearing in the magicant of the original earthbound

Right time in the right place my ass. I really don't want to start any arguments, but I'm going to have to repeat what's already been said by others. It's not funny in the slightest, it's just obnoxious.

Even though I could ask you not to bump threads with partially unrelated comments, I'll just make this very clear to you now to make things much easier. Hell, I can't even believe I have to mention any of this in the first place, since a lot of it is common sense in regards to the internet in general.
If I literally told you without even providing any verifiable evidence that, say for example, Porky was in Wreck-It Ralph 2, would you honestly believe me? Even if I claimed to have seen the movie with my own eyes, would you even buy it? No, of course you wouldn't, because it's a very bold claim to make and I'd have absolutely nothing to use to back myself up.
This same thing applies to you saying that Ness and Sans (mentioning Sans being in a mainstream movie like this is already enough for me to completely doubt it) are in Ready Player One. Using another Wiki, which any user can edit, to back up your claim, isn't proof. That's just you going by essentially what someone else has said on the internet (which, by the way, even the Ready Player One Wiki hasn't provided any evidence at all behind Ness' cameo and could just people lying or joking around). You need actual solid proof that these "cameos" are actually true (very clear screenshots from the movie), otherwise people are just going to be skeptical.
So in conclusion, please drop this whole Ready Player One thing unless you can actually find something from the movie itself to back up your claims, and not by solely taking other people's words for granted. Because welcome to the internet. Anyone can make up anything.
