PSI Shield (PK サイコシールド, PK Shield) (also known as "Psychic Shield", "Counter", and "Psycho-Shield") is a PSI ability in EarthBound. It protects a single conscious character, or all characters, from enemy PSI-based attacks, and even returns some of the blocked damage to the attacker at higher power levels. PSI Shield is learned in Mother by Ninten and Ana , in EarthBound by Paula Polestar, and in Mother 3 by Lucas.
Reduces the effects of an enemy's PSI attacks by half.
Protects one person with a psychic shield. It blocks an enemy's PSI attack. Using a different shield will cancel these effects.
