Template:M2 enemy Mobile Sprouts, known as Walking Sprouts in Japan, are plant enemies in EarthBound. They look like green sprouts with two leaves and two small feet. They are first encountered by Ness in the path between Onett and Twoson, and later in the tunnel to Peaceful Rest Valley. They often respond to calls for help from other enemies.
Their standard attack deals low damage. A Mobile Sprout can "Sow seeds around itself.", sometimes causing another Mobile Sprout to "grow" and join the battle. They can perform PSI Magnet α and Lifeup α. A stronger variant is encountered later in the game, called the Tough Mobile Sprout.
Their in-battle theme is similar to the Cranky Lady's and the Unassuming Local Guy's.
