The Jar of Yummy Pickles is a Key item in Mother 3 that is obtained by Lucas and friends. After the fifth Needle is pulled, the Magypsy that was guarding the Needle comes and gives the party the Jar of Yummy Pickles to be delivered to Ionia before disappearing. Later, when entering Argilla Pass on the way to Ionia's house, the party trips and loses the Jar of Yummy Pickles. Boney then becomes the only controllable character while the others stand around searching for the missing item. Boney then finds what the game describes as "something sour", which turns out to be the Jar of Yummy Pickles. After finding it, Boney gives it back to Lucas and they continue to travel to Ionia's house. When this item is finally given to Ionia, he thanks the characters, saying that he will enjoy them before vanishing. However, he admits in the Chupichupyoi Temple that the dog drool was a bit disconcerting.
