The Hard Crocodile is an enemy encountered in the game EarthBound in the Deep Darkness area. This is one of the harder enemies in the area. It is a pink crocodile that is much faster and stronger than its two cousins, the Strong Crocodile and Plain Crocodile. They usually use regular attacks, but they also have nasty bite attacks which are difficult to avoid and a strong tail whip that can severely damage Ness or one of his friends. It is weakest against PSI Fire, but PSI Freeze, PSI Flash, Brainshock and Hypnosis are also very effective against it.
Oddly enough, they use the battle theme "Battle Against Belch".
