LOG-O-TYPE is the infamous title theme of Mother 3. The song plays at the end of the prologue as the game's logo is diplayed, and sets the tone for the fateful adventure that is to follow. The track begins with a short prelude of strings, followed by a grand burst of brass instruments and timpani, giving the impression a symphony orchestra.
LOG-O-TYPE is the first clear instance of the Pigmask Theme leitmotif, the melody symbolizing the entire Pigmask Army, especially Master Porky himself. This leitmotif reappears frequently throughout the game with multiple variations, most notably with His Highness's Theme, the anthem of the Pigmasks.
The song appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as part of the track "Porky's Theme", along with His Highness' Theme. "Porky's Theme" reappears in subsequent entries.
