The Fake Frying Pan is a weapon in Mother 3 that is equippable by Kumatora. It can be purchased for 18000 DP in New Pork City. It only increases her offense stat by 26. When used to attack, the weapon makes an off-key sound, most likely of an electric guitar, her current attack sound, except higher pitched, with more vibration, and depending on which of the three notes you miss on, there is an after sound, the first note being an extra pitch, a bit deeper than the first hit sound, the second being a few extra pitches moving between high and low, ending oh a high, and the third being a decrescendo of the hit sound. This is the only weapon that allows extra sound to play after the attack. It is intended as a reference to the weapon of choice for female characters in previous games (Ana in EarthBound Beginnings and Paula in EarthBound), which was the frying pan.
