Dash is an ability in Mother and Mother 3 that allows the player to move much faster until they hit a wall or deactivate it.

Mother 3Edit

Dashing can be activated in Mother 3 by holding the B button for a short period of time then releasing it; it can be deactivated by pressing the B button again. Dashing can be used to ram into weak enemies; depending on the level of the characters, the enemies may be stunned or instantly defeated. However, doing so does not grant experience points. Dashing is not possible if someone in the party has a fever. Fainting also has the power to prevent dashing.
