Criminal Caterpillars are an extremely rare enemy in EarthBound. These are green, plump caterpillars with small arms and hands. It gives an extremely high amount of EXP (30384), and they have quite a high amount of HP and PP. These are first found by Ness and co. in Dusty Dunes Desert. These enemies are quick, and they usually run away from the party so it is recommended to give chase. A tougher, and similar counterpart is the Master Criminal Worm.

- Soot Dumplings, Beanlings, and Black Beanlings give an extremely high amount of EXP in Mother 3. Like the Criminal Caterpillar, they all sacrifice DP for their tremendous amount of EXP.
